We have a desire to help wholehearted lovers of Jesus encounter the Holy Spirit in ways that tear down all the walls holding them back from livinig their best life.

We aim to create spaces and partner with people who will help you find purpose in the spiritual desert seasons so that you be healed, transformed, and restored. God still speaks, heals, and delivers those who believe. We invite you to come retreat with us and encounter the power and intimacy of the Holy Spirit.

Come soak in God’s presence and seek his face through worship and prayer, meet with us for prophecy or healing rooms, or attend a retreat. We believe God will meet you exactly where you are and provide exactly what you need.

As the year comes to a close, our vision from the Lord has expanded in new ways. 

In 2023, we dug our roots deeper in NM to establish relationships centered around building a house of prayer and healing AND traveled all over the nation to connect with other believers and intercessors taking on specialty missions from the courts of heaven. From coast to coast, we saw God’s mighty hand tear down principalities and powers and spirits of this world. Jesus returned to his rightful throne in our land, our government, and individual hearts. We saw lives changed, people healed and delivered, and people stand in supernatural unity…. things only God could do.

Many years ago, there was a prophesy in the prayer movement that the Lord would “change the understanding and expression of Christianity in one generation” and it was understood that he would transform this country the same way he transforms a person, from the inside out, starting at the heart. Some people consider the heart of the United States to be the area around Springfield, Missouri, and we have had confirmations in the Spirit that he wants to do great and marvelous things in this region. The Lord has called the Queen’s city a “Field of Springs” and a place where revival may begin. This resounds deeply with many of God’s words to us. The Lord led Alena to knit hearts with a team in Missouri to see this God dream come to birth. 

We never would have guessed what the Lord planned to do in 2024, as many unexpected shifts took place. The Lord fulfilled many promises, including financial promises to our New Mexico team, and wedding bells that united Alena to a member of the Missouri team. We never thought Pray in the Desert would have two homes… but America is our mission field, and we are honored to bring the heart of New Mexico and the Ozarks together.

In 2025, we look forward to hosting retreats and meeting with people for deliverance and inner healing centered around prayer and intimacy with the Lord. Paul and Stephanie continue to host Holy Spirit weekends in their home, and Alena plans to work on her second book, which focuses on our mission: walking people into healing their hearts, embracing their true identity in Christ, and living confidently as a warrior “bride,” ready for the return of our Warrior King Jesus. We are excited and ready to release freedom and blessing over His remnant as they embody their God given “Bridal Authority.”

God is doing so many great and wondrous things behind the scenes. We ask that you will support our ministry. He is truly doing a “new thing” and we are honored to be part and invite you to partner with us on this adventure.
